I have the opportunity to purchase Black Galaxy Granite (http://tanbrown.org) for a great price, but it only comes in 3/4" Slabs (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) . Is this thickness adequate for a residential kitchen Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top, or must it be 1 1/4"? Also, how does Black Galaxy stand (http://maplered.com) up against others, stainwise, strength-wise, etc.? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
